Today, we've learned about AREXVY—an approved vaccine to protect adults 60 years and older against RSV lower respiratory tract disease.

So, what should you do now? Well, here's what I think: Plan ahead to ensure patients receive AREXVY this fall.

Apply a long-term strategy to your adult immunization program. Given the crowded nature of the adult schedule, assess what other recommended vaccines may be given to your patients now before respiratory season begins.

Listen, I... I recognize how challenging it can be to get your patients to prioritize vaccines when it may feel like there are so many to recommend. But help yourself. And, more importantly, help your patients by getting them caught up with their recommended vaccines, and make room to protect them from RSV-LRTD with AREXVY this fall.
